Summer Chess Tournament
August 23, 2026 · A Day of Competition, Community, and Chess
Our chess tournament brought together more than 20 young players from different age groups for an exciting day of competition, learning, and community. To create a fair and enjoyable experience, participants were organized into two separate brackets based on their age and playing level.
Players had the opportunity to test their skills, apply the strategies they had learned, and gain valuable tournament experience. Each match encouraged concentration, patience, thoughtful decision-making, and good sportsmanship. The two-bracket format allowed participants to compete against others with similar experience while still being part of one shared chess community.
The tournament celebrated much more than winning. It gave every participant an opportunity to build confidence, learn from each game, meet other young chess players, and enjoy the challenge of competition. We were proud to see so many children supporting one another and demonstrating enthusiasm, respect, and a genuine love for chess.
